Betty Sue Buchanan Curtis

Mrs. Betty Sue Buchanan Curtis, age 82, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. Mrs. Curtis was born June 17, 1932, in Waverly, TN, to Samuel Christopher and Emma Lawson Buchanan. She was married to Ray Edward Curtis. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly, Womens Missionary Union, and a former Sunday School Teacher at her church. Mrs. Curtis was a retired Teacher's Assistant for Humphreys County Board of Education. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 29, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014, visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:30 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Dr. Richard Bray will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be Larry Curtis, Steve Curtis, Jeff Curtis, Randy Richardson, Tyler Richardson, and Spencer Richardson. Survivors include: Husband: Ray E.
