Mrs. Thelma Allene Stephenson Merideth, age 81, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Merideth was born in Humphreys County, TN, on August 25, 1933, to Johnnie D. and Leona Hamms Stephenson. She was a retired Bootmaker for Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 5, 2015, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Interment will follow in the Gorman Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
