Dorris "Wayne" Hatcher

Mr. Dorris "Wayne" Hatcher, age 81, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mr. Hatcher was born October 25, 1933, in Waverly, TN, to George Clint and Mary Martin Parker Hatcher. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School and a retired Prison Guard for the State of Tennessee in Nashville. Mr. Hatcher was a member and Sunday School teacher at Stone River Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 10, 2015, from 12-12:30 p.m. at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at the B. Parker Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Bro. Joe James will be officiating the service.
