Mrs. Mildred Evelyn Woods Scott, age 91, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. Mrs. Evelyn Scott was born March 30, 1924, in Waverly, TN, to Willie D. and Daisy F. Townsend Woods. She was married to William Thomas Scott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Waverly First United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 25, 2015, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly.
