Harry Austin Jackson

Mr. Harry Austin Jackson, age 89, of McEwen, TN, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, in Centenniel Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Jackson was born January 25, 1926, in Clarksville, TN, to Carroll Owen and Addie Stack Jackson. He was married to Nancy Louise Shanks Jackson. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in McEwen, TN. Mr. Jackson was a retired Mechanic for Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN, and a former member of the Local Union at Acme Boot Company. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 21, 2015, from 4:30-8 p.m., and Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. David Deavers will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Gorman Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers will be Dwayne Jackson, Keith Jackson, Bubba Jackson, Greg Sutton, Frank Huggins, and Chike Stevenson-Jackson.
