Herbert Leon Stephenson

Mr. Herbert Leon Stephenson, age 80, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015, at his home. Mr. Stephenson was born September 19, 1935, in Waverly, TN, to Johnnie David and Leona Hamms Stephenson. He was married to Patricia Gayle Rainwater Stephenson. He was the Business Owner of Stephenson Furniture and a retired Contractor. Mr. Stephenson was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 2-8 p.m., and Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Pastor Marcie Hendrick and Pastor Milton Gordon will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be Cody Carson, Corey Carson, Caleb Carson, Eric Beard, Dustin Gordon, and Ward Phillips.
