Florence "Flo" Edna Denniston

Mrs. Florence "Flo" Edna Brower Denniston, age 85, of Gallatin, TN, and formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015, in the Brandywood Nursing Home in Gallatin, TN. Mrs. Denniston was born August 17, 1930, in Erie, PA, to Robert and Florence Arkiel Brower. She was married to Edward Robert Denniston, who preceded her in death on June 5, 1985. She was a member of Donelson Heights United Methodist Church. Flo loved her family and friends, enjoyed playing cards, crafts, crocheting, traveling, playing golf, and helping others. She was a volunteer for the Nashville Metropolitan Airport Flying Aces. She was a retired Legal Secretary for Porch-Peeler-Williams Law Offices in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 4, 2015, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 12:30 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Pastor Dan Smith will be officiating the service.
