Benjamin "Buster" Slaydon Rumsey

Mr. Benjamin "Buster" Slaydon Rumsey, age 78, of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at his home, following an extended illness. Mr. Rumsey was born September 18, 1937, in McEwen, TN, to Starlen and Mary Hall Rumsey. He was retired from Conalco in New Johnsonville, TN, and a retired Boatmaker from Ebbtide Boats in White Bluff, TN. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Joe James of Smyrna, TN will be officiating the service.
