Robert Ferrell "Beans" Browning

Mr. Robert Ferrell "Beans" Browning, age 82, of Waverly, TN, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016, in the Waverly Health Care Center in Waverly. Mr. Browning was born April 20, 1934, in Waverly, TN, to Hosea Ferrell and Minnie Medlin Browning. He was married to Margaret "Sue Bell" Wright Browning. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. Mr. Browing was a retired Electrician for Tennessee Valley Authority in New Johnsonville, TN. He was a member of Wildwood Valley Church of Christ in Hurricane Mills, TN. He was a 3rd Degree Mason and a member of Waverly Masonic Lodge #304, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union. A Masonic Service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., and Friday, May 13, 2016, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
