Billy Joe Story

Mr. Billy Joe Story, age 75, of Waverly, TN, passed away June 2, 2016, in Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Mr. Story was born July 17, 1940, in Waverly, TN, to Homer Lee and Nannie Mae Braden Story. He was married for 56 years to Helen Elizabeth Gwin Story. He was a member of Compassion Church in Waverly. Mr. Story was a retired Equipment Operator for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Scottish Rite in Nashville, TN, and a member of the Waverly Lodge # 304. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 4, 2016, 4-8 p.m., and Sunday, June 5, 2016, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Rick Tate will be officiating the service.
