Angela Dee Hinson Kolbeck, 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in Husum, Germany. She was born in Waverly, Virginia on September 27, 1962 and was the third of four daughters born to Lewis F. Jennings and Dorothy Silva Jennings. She lived in Waverly until she was 13 and then in El Paso, Texas. Angie made numerous friends in Waverly and in El Paso and even though she moved quite a bit through her adult years, her friends stayed steadfastly with her throughout her entire life.   Angie was predeceased by her father, Lewis F. Jennings in 2013, by her son, Cody Hinson, in 1994 and by her sister, Marlo Mattingly in 2015. She is survived by her husband, Ingo Kolbeck of Seeth, Germany; her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Walton (Justin) of McEwen, TN; her stepchildren, Patrick and Jana Kolbeck; her mother, Dorothy Silva Jennings of Atlanta; her sister Rebecca Somerhalder (John) of Atlanta; and her sister, Mary Ann Kennedy (Bill) of Benedict, ND. She is also survived by her former spouse, Stanley Hinson of Waverly, TN, four grandchildren, Leilah Hinson, Dustin and Dayton Peek and Kade Walton all of McEwen, TN. A fifth grandchild, Raelynn Elizabeth Walton will be born in September. An uncle, Talbot Jennings of Virginia, an aunt, Sylvia Serna of Alamogordo, NM, an uncle Sonny Silva (Carol) of Andrews, TX and an uncle Joe Silva of Tijeras, NM. Angie is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, Daniel, Nikki, Rosalyn, Rosanna, Jeffrey, April, Awbri, Hayle and Gage; her step-mother Janet Jennings and three step-siblings, Mike, Laurie and Kathy.   Angie graduated from Parkland High School in El Paso, Texas in 1980. She married Stanley Hinson who was in the U.S. Army and they, along with their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, moved to several places including two tours in Germany. Angie worked for Hughes and Boeing doing government contract work in assembly and testing. She was a loving mother and wife and can only be described as a child-at-heart. She made life both fun and exciting for her family and she absolutely adored her daughter Mary. In 1994, while stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, Angie and Stanley lost their 7-week-old infant son, Cody to SIDS. It remained a heartache that never healed for her.     In October of 2000, Angie married her husband, Ingo Kolbeck who was a German soldier stationed in El Paso, Texas. She became the stepmother to two children, Patrick and Jana who loved her very much. In 2003 she moved with Ingo and Patrick to Seeth, Germany where she lived until her very premature death from complications related to a perforated ulcer and depleted immune system after her cancer treatment. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family but her death is tremendously difficult for her mother, Dorothy, her daughter Mary, her sisters Becky and Mary and by her loving husband Ingo.   A previous service has already been held in Germany. A portion of her cremated remains will be buried with her son, Cody, in a private ceremony at Simpson Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13th at 1:30pm at Compassion Church, 1880 Mt. Zion Road, McEwen, Tennessee 37101. Visitation with the family will begin an hour and a half before the service.   Charitable donations may be made in Angela’s name to The American Cancer Society.
