Irene Wright

Mrs. Irene Williams Wright age 97, of Hurricane Mills, TN passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Wright was born January 19, 1919 in Humphreys County. She was a member of the Wildwood Valley church of Christ and Buffalo FCE. Before retiring, she was employed by Washington Manufacturing and Acme Boot Companies. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens and taking care of her pets. Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Baker Williams. She was married to the late Floyd Wright. In addition to her parents and husband, a brother, William Henry Williams preceded her in death. Her daughter Doretha Wright of Lebanon, TN survives her. The family wishes to express appreciation to the caring and dedicated administration and staff of Humphreys County Nursing Home and to Dr. George Mathai.
