Martha "Lynn" Elvington Mealer

Mrs. Martha "Lynn" Elvington Mealer, age 64, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, in TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Mealer was born October 18, 1952, in Waverly, TN, to Charles Grady and Minnie Odell Tidwell Elvington. She was married to Gary Michael Mealer. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly. Lynn and her husband Gary were charter members of Friends of the Handicapped. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 4-9 p.m., and Monday, July 17, 2017, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Pastor Keith Poglitsch of Camden, TN will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Wyly Cemetery in Waverly.
