Mary Rebecca "Becky" Wanamaker Smith

Mrs. Mary Rebecca "Becky" Wanamaker Smith, age 82, of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Waverly Healthcare Center in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Becky Smith was born February 4, 1935, in McEwen, TN, to James Edward and Stella Wheeler Wanamaker. She was married to George Ralph Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Christ Community Church in McEwen. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club, Humphreys County Election Commission, Co-leader of the Girl Scouts, Sunday School Secretary & Teacher, and Secretary of Women's Ministry for Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in McEwen. Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 17, 2017, from 3-8 p.m., and Tuesday, July 18, 2017, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 10 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. Ken Young will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen. Active pallbearers will be Erik Houston, Ethan Houston, Emrik Houston, Chris Smith, Kyle Smith, Mark Wanamaker, Joel Hill, and Trevor Hill.
