Joseph Owen Duncan

Mr. Joseph Duncan age 72, of McEwen, TN passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. He was born in Corinth Mississippi on March 21, 1945 to the late Hugh Duncan and Nina McHalffey Duncan Fowlkes. He married Janet Luitze Duncan on June 30, 1973 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Mr. Duncan worked for JR Concrete Construction and George Luitze Mason Contractor in Kenosha Wisconsin. He was also an auto body technician for 30 years. He coached baseball for Dixie Youth League. He enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, yard work, and his favorite granddaughter. He was an avid Packer fan.   He is survived by his: Wife: Janet Luitze Duncan of McEwen, TN Sons: Joe Duncan (Elisha) of TN Justin Duncan of McEwen, TN Grandchildren: Tamera, Dante, & Dillon of TN Brother: Jeff Duncan of New Johnsonville Sisters: Anne Warstler of New Johnsonville, TN Teresa Cuff (Joe) of Camden, TN Mother-in-law: June Polhemus Luitze of Wisconsin Brothers-in-law: Vernon Luitze (Tammy) of Wisconsin Louie Luitze (Carol) of Wisconsin Chris Luitze (Lori) of Wisconsin Sisters-in-law: Tina Becker of Arizona Dee Dee Woodstock (Dave) of Wisconsin Jacque Luitze (Bonnie) of California Annette Feivor (Jeff) of Wisconsin Companion Animals: Penny Sue and Cissy Several Nieces and Nephews In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his: Father-in-law: George Luitze Sisters-in-law: Linda Duncan  Mary J. Thompson Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 14, 2017 from 10am-2pm at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. A memorial service for Mr. Duncan will be Monday August 14, 2017 at 2pm at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly conducted by Bro. Bruce McCarson, Tommy Burkett and Justin Duncan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
