Mr. Straat Haywood Evans, age 81, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, in St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Evans was born October 31, 1935, in Atlanta, GA, to Walter and Lorraine Tunnel Evans. He was married to Margaret Ann Morris Evans. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army after serving for 21 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was also the retired owner of Evans T. V. Service. Mr. Evans was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned.Survivors include:Wife: Margaret M.
