Ms. Carmen Celeste Newbern, age 51, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Ms. Newbern was born April 28, 1966, in Nashville, TN, to Charles W. and Judy Ann Dendy Newbern. She was a member of Compassion Church in McEwen, TN, and a Retail Store Clerk. Visitation with the family of Celeste Newbern will be Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5-8pm, and Monday, November 6, 2017, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Pastor Tommy Hodges will be officiating the service.
