Mr. Herman Lashlee Forrest, age 89, of Waverly, TN, passed Friday, December 15, 2017 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Forrest was born May 14, 1928, in Waverly, TN, to L.E. and Iola Louise Lashlee Forrest. He was married to Irma Jean Wall Forrest. He was a member of the Halls Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waverly, TN. He was a Elder at Halls Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waverly, TN, 32 degree Mason and member of Waverly Masonic Lodge #304, Shriner, Order of Eastern Star Robert E. Lee Chapter #167 for 37 years, part owner of Clydeton Boat Dock for over 30 years, long time caretaker for Hillcrest Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 2-8 p.m., with Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m., and Monday, December 18, 2017, from 11:00 a.m., to funeral service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Pastor Tom Jehnzen will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
