Martha Jane Morton Peerman

Mrs. Martha Jane Morton Peerman, age 89, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her home in New Johnsonville, TN. Mrs. Peerman was born March 9, 1928, in Lenoir City, TN, to Joseph Marshall and Laura Melinda Wilkerson Morton. She was married to the late David Edward Peerman. She was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in New Johnsonville, TN. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Humphreys County Nursing Home and has lived here since 1976. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 9 a.m,. until funeral service time at 11:00 a.m., at Luff-Bowen in Waverly, TN., with Tommy Goodwin officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
