Brenda Kay Hemby McFarland passed away December 24, 2017 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home after a long bout with cancer. Mrs. McFarland was born March 18, 1953 to Joseph Leslie and Lucille Watts Hemby.Doug Watts, her brother will be officiating the graveside service on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with interment in the Hemby Family Cemetery. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Joseph L. (Joe) Hemby, Jr. and William Thomas (Tommy) Hemby.Survivors include her husband, Terry McFarland; a son Hal Ellen (Colleen) of Franklin: two daughters Candace Baker (Tony) of New Johnsonville; Dawn Crum (J.C) of New Johnsonville; one stepdaughter Ebie Bruno (Jon Paul) of Nashville; 2 brothers Doug Watts (Judy) of Jackson; Ronnie Hemby (Patricia) of Sylacauga, Ala; 2 sisters Becky Boner (Lloyd) of New Johnsonville; Anita Passarella (Danny) of Franklin.
