Mrs. Dorothy Mae Smith Pearson, age 88, of Waverly, TN., passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at NHC Healthcare in Dickson, TN. Mrs. Pearson was born July 1, 1929, in New Johnsonville, TN., to Hugh Hedge and Hattie Mae Adams May. She was married to William Pearson. She was retired from Acme Boot and a caretaker. She was a member of Richland Avenue Church of Christ in Waverly. Family will be receiving friends Monday, January 22, 2018, from 11:00 a.m., until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m., at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, with Bro. Kenneth Fleming, Jr., officiating.
