Betty Louise Call

Betty Louise Call, age 92 of McEwen, TN passed away Saturday,
April 29, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. Betty
was born on December 12, 1930, in Lincoln NE to the late
Bessie M. and Roy W. Elfline. She was a member of the Eastern
Star and American Legion Auxiliary. Betty volunteered often at
McEwen Elementary. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and
planting. Betty dedicated her entire life to her family, and they
will forever remember and cherish her sacrifices.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Deanna Harris of
Fort Myers, FL, Carolyn Hansford (Richard) of McEwen, TN,
Lewis Call of Dumfries, VA, Cynthia Spicer (John) of White Bluff,
TN, and Frances Call of McEwen, TN. Betty is also survived by
18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 1 great-great
grandchild; and her brother, Donald Elfline.
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her
husband, Carroll Call; daughter, Cheryl Snyder; and sister,
Norma Barrett.
There are no public services scheduled at this time.
