Betty Ruth McDonald

Betty Ruth McDonald, age 80 of Beech Grove, TN passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born in Waverly, TN on November 10, 1942 to the late Ollie Myrtle Summers Belcher and Carlie Walter Belcher. Betty was a Registered Nurse for 10 years and served 20 years as a Correctional Officer for Davidson County Sheriff Department.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert McDonald (Trevice Joyce Ralph) of Waverly, TN; daughters, Cynthia Bryson and Leigh Ann McDonald both of Beech Grove, TN; brother, William Walter Belcher of Waverly, TN; her animals, Baby Girl and Elvis. Betty is also survived by her grand-animals, Sweetie, Coon, Peanut and Prissy.

Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Lois Nell Belcher.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Summers Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Bro. Sydney Parham will officiate the service.
