Bobbye Jean Gunn Cogdill

Mrs. Bobbye Jean Gunn Cogdill, age 87, of Dickson, TN and formerly of McEwen, TN, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Cogdill was born August 4, 1934, in Waverly, TN, to Walter Lee and Mary Ellen Holland Gunn. She was a member of Pond Church of Christ in Dickson. She was a Retired Cashier for Bi-Rite Cash-N-Carry in McEwen. Mrs. Cogdill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 13, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until Funeral Service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Pond Church of Christ in Dickson. Rev. Jacob Edward Drake will be officiating the service. Additional speakers will be Eddie Todd Forrest, Joshua William Drake, Joseph Cogdill Drake, and Jordan Thomas Drake. Interment will follow in the Bethpage Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Todd Forrest, Joshua William Drake, Joseph Cogdill Drake, Jordan Thomas Drake, Robert Monroe Holland, Jr., and Cory Triplett.
