Mr. Charles Jerome “Jerry” Padgett, age 79, of McEwen, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Mr. Padgett was born in Duck Town, GA on February 24, 1942, to Charles Oliver Padgett and Mary Marie Seabolt Padgett. He was married to Mary Lillian Smith Padgett. Jerry was a Retired Boilermaker from Tennessee Copper Company in Copperhill, TN. He was a member of the Waverly Elks Lodge. Mr. Jerry Padgett will be cremated at Richlawn Crematory, our on-site crematory on the grounds of Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Graveside service and interment of cremains will be Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McEwen, TN. Rev. Brandon Daily will be officiating the service. Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen is in charge of arrangements.
