Charles Monroe Profitt

Mr. Charles Monroe Profitt, age 64 of McEwen, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Tri- Star Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville. Charles was born May 25, 1958 in McEwen, Tennessee to Mary Delma Cook Profitt and Don Monroe Profitt. He was a talented singer and enjoyed singing in his family's southern gospel group and the Tennessee VOLS! Charles had a great sense of humor and was quite hilarious. He made many lifelong friends that will remember and cherish him forever.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Beverly "Janiece", Rast (Lee) of Gaston, South Carolina, brother, Don "Vernon" Profitt of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, brother, Wesley Stephen Profitt of McEwen, Tennessee, brother Mark Profitt (Donna) of Bon Aqua, Tennessee and sister, Jennifer Patrick of Cookeville, Tennessee. 
He also leaves six nieces, Celina Bush, Jennifer Horner, Bobbie Tidwell, Danielle Profitt Zimmerman, Nikki Profitt Hendericks, and Lindsay Profitt; and six nephews, Michael Profitt, Joshua Profitt, Caleb Profitt, Clifton (Trey) Patrick,III, Ryan Patrick, and Jarred Patrick. Charles' nieces and nephews, along with their children, meant so much to him. He loved them as if they were his own children and enjoyed every moment he spent with them. 

Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 16, 2023 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, from 9AM until time of service at 1PM. Bro. Craig Peevyhouse and The Profitt Family Southern Gospel Group will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are, Joshua Profitt, Caleb Profitt, Trey Patrick, Bradley Zimmerman, Kenneth Hendricks, and Garrett Melton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Delma Cook Profitt and Don Monroe Profitt.
