Elizabeth Anderson Hatcher

Elizabeth Anderson Hatcher, age 92 of Chapel Hill, TN passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Elizabeth was born in Waverly, TN on September 18, 1930 to the late Nellie Gertrude and John Wesley Thomas.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Nell Polk (Ron) of Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Jon Maxell, Hannah Rowell (B.J.), David Cole (Juna) and Stephanie Cole; great grandchildren, Luke Maxwell, Salli Maxwell, Aila Rowell, Aviana Rowell, Max Rowell and Liam Cole.

Along with her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Carter Maxwell; sisters, Ruby Smith, Maymie Mosley, Stella Carter, Pauline Mitchell, Francis Potter and Sarah Imogene Thomas Etheridge; brothers, Frank Thomas and Harold Thomas; and grandson, Joshua Maxwell.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 beginning at at 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. Immediately following visitation, burial will take place at Carter Cemetery at 1:30 P.M.
