Elmer "Skeeter" David Yearout

Elmer “Skeeter” David Yearout, age 79, of McEwen, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.  Elmer was born on July 18, 1943, in Alabama, to Daniel “D A” Allen Yearout and Lillie Laverne Bevis Yearout.  He was a welder and retired from Vulcan Materials.  He spent his life caring for his son, 2 daughters, and his wife of 56 years Sue Yearout.  Skeeter attended the Lighthouse Ministry in McEwen, TN, and spent his free time enjoying fishing.

There are no services scheduled for Elmer “Skeeter” Yearout at this time.  In Lieu of Flowers the family requested that friends provide an act of kindness in memory of Skeeter and that you remember him next time you reel in “the big one”.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years: Sue Berryman Yearout, McEwen, TN; His 2 daughters: Janna Glenn (Andy), New Johnsonville, TN, and Amanda Yearout, McEwen, TN, and his Sister in law: Ann Parchman (Tommy), McEwen, TN, 3 Grandchildren: Mathew Shane Harvey, McEwen, TN, Olivia Dawn Cunningham (Dylan), Waverly, TN, and Erica Leigh Yearout, McEwen, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel “D A” and Lillie Yearout and his son Eric Yearout.
