Frances Ann Grant VanSyckel

Ms. Frances Ann Grant VanSyckel, age 90 of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Waverly Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Frances was born May 16, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Harry Samuel Grant and Martha Alice Cameron Grant. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at the Waverly Animal Shelter and a member of the Waverly First United Methodist Church. Frances' favorite pass time was playing bridge with her bridge group.

She is survived by one son, John Southwood (Leslie) of Nashville, TN and one daughter, Deborah Love (Robert) of Fargo, North Dakota. She also leaves six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha Grant.

Ms. Frances' wishes were to be laid to rest with her family at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana. A private graveside service for the family will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

"Saving one animal will not change the world, but surely for that one animal, the world will change forever."
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Frances requested that donations be made to the Waverly Animal Shelter.
