Gina Renee Pruett

Ms. Gina Renee Pruett, age 43, of Somerville, TN and formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.  Gina was born on September 17, 1979, in Waverly, TN, to Robert Pruett and Lisa Guthrie Pruett.  She graduated from Waverly Central High School in 1998. She then went on to graduate with an associate’s degree at Nashville State Community College in 2005. She worked in Food services. She attended the Bakerville Church of Christ.  On November 19, 2005, Gina gave birth to the greatest gift she could have ever given to the world, a beautiful baby girl named Lilly.

Gina was an avid collector of anything that gave her happiness.  Her greatest treasures were from items that she found and collected.  She loved hunting Indian relics. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Lilly Pruett; her parents Robert and Lisa Pruett; one brother, Chris “Tank” Pruett; paternal grandmother, Bobbie Pruett; one aunt, Delbra Pruett Crowell, and one uncle, Lonnie Guthrie.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Delbert Pruett and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Ruth Guthrie

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly.  Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will officiate the services.  Interment will be at the May Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
