Ann Isenhour, 91 years old, passed away peacefully in Waverly, TN on August 24, 2023.

She was born in McEwen on September 3, 1931. She attended St. Patrick School and graduated from McEwen High School in 1950. She was married in 1951 and accompanied her husband, a sailor in the US Navy, to San Juan, Puerto Rico. She later settled in Nashville where she worked for Kroger for 42 years. She spent her retired years taking care of her many great nieces and nephews. She returned to McEwen in 2015 where she was able to enjoy her numerous great-great-nieces, read books, and spend time with Mama Kitty.       

She is survived by her sister, Patty Tarpy Bradley, and her three close nieces and nephew, Mike Bradley, Teresa Stephenson, and Brenda Tolar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. 

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Joe Isenhour and her brothers and sisters, Rev. Joseph Tarpy, Itty Hopwood, Digger Tarpy, Rum Tarpy, Sadie Mitchell, Margaret Coleman, and Pete Tarpy along with her parents Ruby and John Tarpy. 

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Magnolia Place and Humphreys' County Care & Rehab for their loving care.
