Mr. Hershel Oneail Baker, age 91, of McEwen, TN, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020, at Waverly Healthcare and Rehab in Waverly, TN. Mr. Baker was born August 5, 1928, in McEwen, TN, to John Elton Baker and Emma Mai Crowell Baker. He was married to Jelema Dotson Baker. He was a retired Steamfitter Supervisor, a member of the Steamfitters & Pipefitters Local 572, and a member of McEwen United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Wife:  Jelema Dotson Baker, McEwen, TN 3 Sisters: Lillie Mai Wheeler, Goodlettsville, TN  Eva Nell Young (Max), McEwen, TN  Faye Young (Ken), McEwen, TN Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Parents: John Elton and Emma Mai Crowell Baker 3 Sisters: Zella “Polly” Wright, Dorothy Harter, and Jo Ann Parchman 3 Brothers: Clyde W. Baker, John Cleveland "Cleve" Baker, and Leonard N. Baker Visitation for Mr. Hershel Baker will be Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 2:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 11:00 AM until funeral service time at 2:00 PM, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. Ken Young and Pastor Jacob Wood will officiate the service. Interment will be at McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
