Ms. Kimberly Lavonne Bailey, age 61, of Shelbyville and former resident of Waverly, TN, passed away on December 8, 2021, in her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 30, 1960, in Lawton, OK, to Glenn Bailey and the late Carolyn King McBee. Kim graduated from Lawton High School. She formerly worked as an assistant superintendant for Haury & Smith Construction Company. Kim was a devoted mom and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in her yard, decorating, and being with her friends and family. Visitation and Services for Kimberly Bailey will be on Saturday, January 8, 2021, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM. Pastor Scott Brown will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Senior Day in honor of Kimberly to go towards a scholarship for one of the deserving seniors. You can drop off donations at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN, or you can drop them off at Hooper Photography in Waverly, TN. Kim leaves behind a family that she loved: Daughter: Dondi (Adam) Sanders Son: Shane (Stacey) Diener 3 Grandchildren: Ethan Sanders, Clive Diener, and Bailey Diener Father: Glenn Bailey Siblings: Keith Bailey, Shelle McBee, & Billy (Vickie) McBee Partner: Dick Bourn Former Husband: Mark Diener Many Special Nieces, Nephews, Friends, & Neighbors. She was preceded in death by her Son: Ryne Diener; Mother, Carolyn McBee; and Brothers: Caroll Glenn Bailey & Bob Bailey.
