Linda Joyce Baker

Mrs. Linda Joyce Forrester Baker, age 75, of McEwen, TN, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Baker was born July 14, 1946, in McEwen, TN, to Billy and Sally Margaret Clemons Forrester. She was married to James Daniel "Dan" Baker. She was a member of Poplar Grove church of Christ in McEwen, TN. Linda Baker was a retired Teacher and Cook for McEwen Child Development Center. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Linda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service time at 4:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Bro. Brandon Baker and Bro. Jim Suddeath will be officiating the service. Linda Baker will be cremated at a later date at the Richlawn Crematory, our on-site crematory, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Interment of cremains will be by the family in the Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sanders Cemetery Fund, c/o Jimmy Long, 826 Peeler Lane, McEwen, TN 37101.
