Marlene Walsh

Ms. Marlene Walsh, age 72, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Marlene was born on November 3, 1949 in Columbus, OH to Ruth Irene Huffman and Wayne Clinton Johnson.  Marlene was a devout Christian who always did her best for family, as well as the people in her care as a nursing assistant. She loved flowers, bird watching, outdoor adventures and rustic living.

Left to cherish her memory are her 7 children, Paula Goetz (Michael) of Dickson, TN; Kimberly Jackson (Dwayne) of McEwen, TN; Ryan Walsh of Waverly, TN; Tammy Dicus (Keith) of Collinwood, TN; Meghan Hall (Joe) of Clarksville, TN; Marilee Buckley (“Buck”) of Lincoln, NE, and Jay Richey (Tonya) of New Johnsonville, TN; and 8 grandchildren, Alison Jackson of McEwen, TN; Braden Hall of Clarksville, TN; Gavin Jimerson of Lincoln, NE; Emma Dicus of Collinwood, TN; Tristen Richey of New Johnsonville, TN; Cash Richey of New Johnsonville, TN; Liam Buckley of Lincoln, NE; and Mason Richey of New Johnsonville, TN. Marlene is also survived by her beloved partner, Lawrence “Waldo” Watts.

Marlene is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Irene Huffman, father, Wayne Clinton Johnson and son Karl James Walsh, Jr.

The family will have a Celebration of Life in early October.
