Martin "Marty" Lee Jamison

Martin "Marty" Lee Jamison, age 52, of McEwen, TN, passed away October 21, 2023, with his beloved wife Margaret by his side. He was born in Waverly, TN, on November 4, 1970, to Larry Lee Jamison and Sheilah Moran Johnson. Marty will be remembered as “a good man with a big heart.” He had a unique quality that brightened the lives of all he came in contact with and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.  He deeply loved his wife Margaret, his sons Micheal and Robert, and all his beloved family and friends.  He will always be a hero in his sons eyes.  Marty is now gloriously free with the Lord in Heaven, and is now rejoicing with his beloved father and other family members who have went on before him. Though he will be greatly missed by countless family and friends, he can rest high on that mountain, for his work on earth is done.  He loved hunting and was an avid fisherman.

Left to cherish his memory is his spouse of 19 years Margaret Colvin; sons; Micheal Jamison and Robert Jamison, both of McEwen, TN; Mother; Sheilah Johnson, McEwen, TN; Sister; Rebecca Jamison, Waverly, TN; Brother; Billy Jamison, Waverly, TN; Brother in Law; Randy Ledford, Waverly, TN; Step Mother; Peggy Jamison, Paris, TN; Step Brother; Tim Edmonds (Katie); Step Sister; Chrystal Sands (Chris), Paris, TN; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Father; Larry Lee Jamison, Grandmother; Juanita Engdahl, and Grandfather; Lee Edward Jamison, Maternal Grandmother; Beckie Moran, Maternal Grandfather; Aubrey Moran.

Visitation for Marty will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5-8 PM and on Saturday October 28, 2023, from 10 AM  until the service beginning at 2 PM, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly.  Interment will be at Knight Cemetery in Houston County, TN, following the service.
