Mary Ann Warren

Mary Ann Warren, 99, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Morningside Assisted Living in Paris, TN. Mary Ann was born July 31, 1921, in Old Johnsonville, TN, to Robert Sidney Warren and Addie Stricklin Warren. Predeceased by parents, 2 brothers, David Warren and Robert Warren both of Waverly, 1 sister, Estelle Woolert of Soda Springs, ID, grandson, Wesley Allen Warren of Waverly. Survivors include her son, Allen Warren (Janice), of Puryear, TN, 1 great grandson, David Weston Warren, 2 great-great grandchildren, Shannon Warren and Bryghton Warren, 2 sisters, Faye Warren and Minnie Lou Warren, both of Waverly, 2 nephews and 5 nieces. After 30 years at Vanderbilt Hospital as a Psychiatric Nurse, she retired and moved back to Waverly, where she became actively involved with the Waverly Church of Christ, the Humphreys County Historical Society, and the Humphreys County Humane Society. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humphreys County Humane Society, 108 Young Road, Waverly, TN 37185, or the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, P.O. Box 11180, Nashville, TN 37222. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 23, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm, and Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly.
