Mary Amelia LaPlante Obituary   Mrs. Mary Amelia LaPlante age 101 of Waverly, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home. Mrs. LaPlante was born September 30, 1916 in Westborough, Massachusetts to the late Aldolph Paolini and Mimenci (Moretti) Paolini. She served in the United States Air Force during WWII where she was a Cryptographic Technician and was a supervisor at the Fenwall Company in Ashland, Massachusetts. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Luke the Evangelist in Westborough, Massachusetts.   Mrs. LaPlante is survived by her:   Daughter- Marci Mosley (Shorty) of Waverly, TN Daughter- Cindy LaPlante of McEwen, TN Son- Norman LaPlante Jr. of Loveland, Colorado Son- Jim LaPlante of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts Sister- Amena Paolini of Attleboro, Massachusetts Sister- Gloria White (Dennis) of Hudson, Massachusetts        She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Aldolph and Mimenci (Minnie) Paolini, her husband, Norman Anthony LaPlante Sr., five brothers: Guido, Henry, Serafino, Rocco and Ernest Paolini and five sisters: Ida Jaskulka, Bernice Loncar, Rose Ladd, Jeanne Trotta, Marguerite Santoro.             Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen from 10:00am until funeral service time at 12:00pm conducted by Dr. Scott Brown, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Waverly. Interment will follow in the St. Luke’s Cemetery in Westborough, Massachusetts.
