Melba Virginia Jones Hedge

 Mrs. Melba Virginia Jones Hedge, age 93 , of  Madison, TN, and formerly of McEwen, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Concordia Nursing Home in Carthage, TN. Mrs. Hedge was born August  2, 1926, in McEwen, TN, to Claude Cowan Jones and Vergie Lavada McClelland Jones. She was married to the late Cleo Carl Hedge. Mrs. Hedge loved to garden and grow ferns and flowers and she adored her pets.

Survivors include:

2 Daughters: 

Donna Hedge (Jerald) Baker, Gainesboro, TN

Lydia Hedge Mockmore, Lafayette, TN

3 Grandchildren: Wendy C. Baker, Katherine Bosley (Keith) and Patrick Mockmore (Rebecca)

4 Great Grandchildren: Jessie (Laura) Baker, Cynthia Jordan, Nathan Mockmore and Isabella Bosley.

She is preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Stegall and her husband Cleo Carl Hedge.

There will be a Graveside Service conducted at McEwen Cemetery on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1:30. The family will receive visitors at 1:00 PM. Pastor Rick Kennedy will officiate the service.
