Nellie Florence Faulkner

Mrs. Nellie Florence Faulkner, age 97 of Waverly, passed away Friday at her home. She was born January 28, 1922 in Swandale, West Virginia to the late William and Mary Ellen Taylor Ramsey. She was married to the late Ernest Faulkner and they had two children, Mary and William. She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Waverly.

Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her:

Daughter- Mary Murphree (L.B.), McEwen, TN

Sister- Ethel Reed, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia

Grandchildren- Chris Murphree (Beth) and Kevin Murphree (Andrea)

Great-grandchildren- Hallie, Brooke, and Colt Murphree

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Ellen Ramsey, her husband, Ernest Faulkner, her son, William Ernest Faulkner, and her sister, Hazel Taylor.

            Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Luff Bowen Funeral Home from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Following visitation, Mrs. Faulkner will have a graveside service in Richlawn Cemetery at 1:00PM conducted by Pastor Mike Miller.
