Peggy Jean Chessor Wallace

Mrs. Peggy Jean Chessor Wallace, age 75, of McEwen, TN, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Peggy Wallace was born December 21, 1945, in Hurricane Mills, TN, to Lillie Mae Forrester Chessor and Roy Elmer Chessor. She was married to Billy Wayne Wallace. Peggy was a retired Real Estate Agent for Exit Realty in McEwen. She attended House of Prayer Church in McEwen and was a member of Tennessee Association of Realtors. She loved her family, friends, and was an amazing singer. Peggy was always lovingly taking care of others. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until Memorial Service time at 4:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen. Rev. Tony Curtis will be officiating the service. Peggy will be cremated at our on-site Richlawn Crematory, located on the grounds of Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Interment of cremains of Peggy and Billy Wayne Wallace will be handled by the family at a later date in Taylor Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
