Shade Arnold Garber, Jr.

Mr. Shade Arnold Garber, Jr., age 81, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Mr. Garber was born June 13, 1939, in Waverly, TN, to Shade Arnold Garber, Sr. and Gladys Elizabeth McKeel Garber. He was married to the late Wilma Louise Cullum Garber. He was a member of Mariah Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waverly and a retired Tech I for the Tennessee Department of Transportation in McEwen after 50 years of employment. Mr. Garber was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, stepfather, and friend. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Dyllan Simmons will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
