Vicki Diane Pace

    Ms. Vicki Diane Pace, age 64, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, in St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, in Nashville, TN. Ms. Pace was born August 21, 1953, in Waverly, TN. She was an avid reader, accomplished historian, loved traveling and listening to Elvis Presley and gospel music. Vicki dearly loved her family and all of their family outings. She was an inspiration to all because she kept a positive attitude and smile on her face through the many challenges she faced. She brought joy to the world and a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. Vicki will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

     Survivors include 5 siblings: Patsy Pace Bradley (Jimmy), Sue Pace Bell, of Waverly, TN, Ronald Denton Pace (Sandy), Janie Pace Webb (William “Bud”), Nashville, TN, Tommie Pace Castleman, Winston-Salem, NC, 11 nieces and nephews: Jama and James Bradley, Jana Konrad, Cynthia Story, Renee Muha, Kevin and Derek Pace, Scott, Chris, Jeremy, and Victoria Castleman, 21 Great Nieces and Nephews, 7 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Denton Ray and Tommie Alene Smith Pace, brother: Danny Ray Pace, and niece: Laura Michelle Bell.

     Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 4-8 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Visitation on Monday, August 6, 2018, will be at the Waverly United Methodist Church, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., with Pastor Thad Collier officiating. Interment will follow in the McKeel Cemetery at Cuba Landing.
