Mr. Wayne "Cowboy" Douglas Spears, age 70, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. Cowboy Spears was a victim of the great flood in Hurricane Mills, TN. He was born June 3, 1951, in Elmira, NY, to Jack Lejune and Geraldine Mash Spears. He was married to Helen Louise Rountree Spears. Cowboy was the Ranch Foreman for Loretta Lynn's Ranch Event Venue in Hurricane Mills, TN. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Visitation with the family will be at the Wildwood Valley Church of Christ in Hurricane Mills, TN on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 4:00 p.m. Mr. Will Rourk will be officiating the service. A private burial for family only will follow in the Lynn Family Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
